Experienced Litigator with Deep Technology & Business Background
Daniel J. Parziale possesses incredible insight on complex technical subjects and is an experienced litigator. This collision of two disciplines – tech and law – enables Daniel to provide practical advice to clients in areas where technology, business, and the law intersect.
At Beckage, Daniel regularly advises clients on matters related to incident response, notification obligations arising from data incidents, and evaluation of impacted information and systems. In this capacity, Daniel interfaces with forensic firms and regulatory entities in support of business incident response. Daniel also handles litigation arising out of third-party vendor disputes, performance failures concerning technology products and SaaS contracts, and assists in the defense of businesses in consumer privacy litigation.
Leaning on experiences in incident response and litigation, Daniel provides pragmatic advice on the development of data privacy and security programs including drafting policies and procedures and advising on best practices and regulatory compliance.
Daniel is a Certified Information Privacy Professional, United States (CIPP/US) as certified by the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP).
Daniel received his law degree from Rutgers Law School in 2017, where he served as Managing Business and Technology Editor of the Rutgers Race and the Law Review. He graduated from Rutgers University in 2013 with a B.A. in Political Science, cum laude.
